Never to soon to mark your calendar for our Fall Hangar Dance!  You'll find all the details (to date) below.  If you have not yet attended one of these dances don't miss out on the next one!

Saturday, October 9, 2010

7:00—10:00 p.m.

Reminiscent of the USO hangar dances held during World War II, The Airline History Museum will host another evening of nostalgia with dancing to the big band sound of the Moonlight Serenade Orchestra.  Doors open at 6 p.m. and our museum and planes, DC-3, Martin 404 and Lockheed Constellation will be open 6-8 (L-1011 not yet open for tours, can be viewed from the ramp), orchestra will play 7-10 p.m.  WWII era attire or military uniforms of any period are always welcome but not necessary.

Guests may bring food.  We've seen everything from open bags of chips to catering to anniversary and wedding reception cakes!  It is a great place to celebrate an event!  There will be a cash bar and soft drinks for sale.  Please note, there has been confusion in the past as Kansas and Missouri differ.  Due to Missouri law--alcohol can not be brought in.  We do not want to lose our ability to have these dances so violators will be escorted out, no refund.

Ticket sales will open the end of August and there will be a button to make your reservations right here online.
