The Benders were every bit as good as we'd heard they were and then some!&nbsp; Connie showed off her #3 and #2 engines during the first band intermission.&nbsp; #3 even did a little bit of the "good fire" which you can see (and lots, lots more) in <a class="offsite-link-inline" title="http://g.speedofflight.net/index.php/AHM-Events/Rock-Around-The-Props?page=1&amp;_=3" href="http://g.speedofflight.net/index.php/AHM-Events/Rock-Around-The-Props?page=1&amp;_=3" target="_blank">Marty Williams' Speed of Flight photos</a>.&nbsp; At the 10:00 pm break we all headed to the ramp again where we had a perfect view of the first night of the Riverfest fireworks (also in Marty's photos).&nbsp; Despite a pretty strong breeze out of the south limiting the amount the hangar doors could be open and very high humidity, the fun level was even higher.&nbsp; Looks like Rock Around the Props may be on our calendar to stay! <p><span style="font-size: 120%;">Advance ticket sales for Rock Around the Props closed end of business Wednesday... but the good news is that tickets will be available at the door!&nbsp; The weather looks to be perfect for a summer evening.&nbsp; We know the Benders will not disappoint and added "attractions" are a Connie engine run on the first band intermission and a great view of the first night of the Riverfest Fireworks when they launch at 10:05 p.m.&nbsp;&nbsp; There will be a Chicago Style Hot Dog vendor (with brats, etc.) on site, a visit from an ice cream truck with lots of treats for sale and a cash bar.&nbsp; As always you can also bring your own food snacks with you.&nbsp; A few days ago he mentioned how dirty she had become with all the traffic that passes through.&nbsp; So Larry's dear wife, Jeanne, and their visiting niece, Eva, came down today and made her look like the Queen she is.&nbsp;
