Our first time to host an indoor R/C event and it was/is a great day.  Produced by Troy Hamm of Maverick Hobby's, today, Saturday the 13th, this event has had a wonderful turnout with some spectacular planes and flying.

Last night a group of us hung around for the arrival of Spooky, the AC-47 from Topeka.  Spooky needed a place out of the elements for her annual, so she and her crew members will be in our hangar for a few weeks.  That is why the Connie is really snugged up to the Martin right now.  It's always nice to have visitors!

While Miss Elle still can, her engines were fired up and she did a little taxi out and back as part of a documentary that will be incorporated in the education program that is a work in progress.  The great Speed of Flight team is doing this work for us, as well as a bunch of volunteers freezing on the ramp and a crew in the plane.  Will be exciting to see the results.
